MJM Presents HeatWAVs , as a follow up to their Relentless LP, and The Solar Panel cassette album. HeatWAVs comes as MJM 's third and most likely final Summer album featuring various members of the MJM family. All involved were free to express themselves and make something fresh, whilst giving their take on sounds that would work during the summer months of chilling out during the days or nights. "Belief" is a Hip Hop Jazz gem, that comes with a strong uplifting feel good vibe. The intro sets the tone nicely with a short statement about appreciating life and "believing in yourself". NOISIBOI composed an electronic chill piece for our Bite Size Moments single #41 , as he came with a real atmospheric lounge number for us all to unwind or drift off in thought. You can expect to hear some subtle but infectious synth pads, a thick bassline and some swinging four to the floor drums backed up by some percussion. We've come to single #39 in the Bite Size Moments single series following his 'Orange Feel' EP released late 2023, Dweller steps up once again with another upbeat feel good funky little number. It kicks off with a bouncy Jazz drum break and synthesizer, and progresses with arrangements packed with more synth pads and effects, a vocal sample, and a couple of guitar parts that Dweller plays himself. Here's the latest in The Jazz Jousters sessions, they're closing season five with this album that they've had ready to go for a while. So allow them to introduce 'Vibraphonics' . The Jazz Jousters were simply challenged to flip or compose music using the Vibraphone . It's safe to say it was a good turn out with a 16 track deep track-list. "Beautiful Memories" is built on a succession of melancholy piano chords, a comforting saxophone and a warm bass-drum mix. John Linhart , producer of the "HoodyBoi" project, wrote the track as a tribute to his grandmother Susanna Linhart , a British painter who passed away in 2021. John's inspiration for this project came from the nostalgia he felt from Susanna's paintings of scenery around the house where she lived.
