Gimmie That Beat

'Get LeeN & Stay Classy' is the collaborative LP as two long term members of the MJM family came together for the first time to simply see what they could do. All production comes from the very capable Stay Classy   of Netherlands, who partnered up with the UK/Caribbean lyricist and freestyle veteran LeeN . That all said, this is the instrumental version where you can fully embrace Stay Classy 's production once again, as you may have already heard his two previous MJM solos albums, his work as one of the longest members of the Jazz Jousters collective, or otherwise. Every once in a while a record comes along defies any sort of conventional explanation and transcends today’s numbed-out consensus beats. Cosmic Disco , Neo-Balearic , Retro-Italo-Futurism – get creative as you wish trying to peg it, but one thing is for sure, Doctr ’s "Tropique" is undoubtedly an excellently crafted tune; an immaculate exercise in retro house music and a true crowd-pleasing dance hit that’s just impossible to resist. ***Thanks to CannonBall PR for sending***
