In 2022, after the loss of Nicolás Ojeda 's father, Julio Ojeda (renowned Argentine visual artist) and with the background of recording a version of "The Peacocks" (by Jimmy Rowles ) with the help of Germán Lema on piano as a gift for him before he passed away; soon it was natural to make a complete "Duo record” in tribute to Nicolás's father and with his spirit "in the air" as one more member of the session, a "trio" of double bass, piano and silence... Producer Dub Sonata 's acclaimed instrumental project Nights In Cuba is now available on vinyl for the first time, complete with a new 6-song EP titled Nights In Cuba Revisited included on Side D of the 2xLP release from Man Bites Dog Records . Made in the same fashion as the original 19-track album, Nights In Cuba Revisited is derived from samples sourced from a crate of records the producer dug up during a 2010 trip to Cuba.
