Gimmie That Beat

Revered producers and multi-instrumentalists Karriem Riggins and Madlib released “Otis’ Tambourine” , the third single from their upcoming Jahari Massamba Unit album YHWH is LOVE (out March 1st via Law of Rhythm ). Driven by a tambourine, “Otis’ Tambourine” sounds like astral jazz playing underwater. It pays homage to Jahari Massamba member Madlib 's years of bold musical exploration into uncharted territory.

Accomplished musician and composer Jackson Mico Milas unveils his debut album this November on Apollo Records . ‘Blu Terra’ brings together eleven tender and emotive compositions and finds the Australian artist hitting his stride.  On ‘Katia Standing Alone’ we are given an opening gambit into the album’s tone and substance, as tender strings and sweeping refrains are deployed on this instrumental piece.
