macj - goodlove


"goodlove" is Krakow based Polish producer macj's 5th single of his back to back instrumental releases. He says the following about the song: "I made "goodlove" after I heard an unreleased beat on one Discord group. Full drums and a choppy, vibey melody is exactly what I was going for. I used a beautiful sample featuring strings and electric guitar that I later on complimented with energetic drums and a shaker. I wanted to create an image of being in love and generally feeling "good" - that's where the title comes from. It's my 5th release (single from an upcoming album) via Below System Records".

Producer Yoni Den shares the release "Not What I Call Bonk Wave Volume 001" by Bonk Knob Records . So the compilation was based around this idea of making music which is or isn’t bonk wave, and the whole thing is very vague, nobody knows what is bonk wave or what is not, so every artist just makes music! Haha! It’s been a really fun project. Bonk Knob Records - Not What I Call Bonk Wave - Volume 002 (Disc B)

A compilation of Electronic Music which is or is not #BonkWave only this time it's night time. I’m sure you remember the Bonk Wave compilation in August. It was fun stuff, people seemed to enjoy it, and a few musicians expressed interest in being involved on a second one, so Yoni Den setup an Open submission, with a simple brief “original music which is or is not bonkwave” and gave the project the subtitle “Bonkwave Nights” as a kind of suggestion of theme. The whole Bonk Wave thing originated on Mastodon , and that is where most of the posting and conversation is, but it does stretch out into a few other independent music communities like Lines and STBB Forever .
