Phuladelphia, PA producer and instrumentalist small professor shares his release "i had to be a samurai in the past", made this to accompany a showing of "Shogun Assassin" at Ortlieb's (located in Philly) on 6/27/24. Mostly all of the beats were created in the two weeks prior to the live set, except for "last gasp" and "we was laughin pt. II" which was started in march and "bathtub assassin" which small professor started in 2016 and revisited the morning of the set (that's why it's the intro). "i had to be a samurai in the past" is dedicated to small professor's pops, the greatest samurai in the empire.
