NOISIBOI composed an electronic chill piece for our Bite Size Moments single #41 , as he came with a real atmospheric lounge number for us all to unwind or drift off in thought. You can expect to hear some subtle but infectious synth pads, a thick bassline and some swinging four to the floor drums backed up by some percussion. Japanese singer and multi-instrumentalist Mieko Shimizu re-releases her offbeat, unworldly single “My Tentacles” , which has picked up BBC 6 Music airplay this week from Deb Grant & Tom Ravenscroft , is the title track of the soon to be re-released album of the same name. It is be-thronged by chimeric fusions, dysfunctional beats and startling mutations.

The instrumental version of "I am Reuben" sees Funky DL 's production skills further ascend in orchestrating live players to bring this soulful album together without the use of sampling any records. We've come to single #39 in the Bite Size Moments single series following his 'Orange Feel' EP released late 2023, Dweller steps up once again with another upbeat feel good funky little number. It kicks off with a bouncy Jazz drum break and synthesizer, and progresses with arrangements packed with more synth pads and effects, a vocal sample, and a couple of guitar parts that Dweller plays himself. The Orange Feel EP is basically a very hot summer day depicted in music. Dweller explains the title as, "Orange Feel (orange peel) had a nice ring to it, and all the tracks in their own way make me "feel" summer (warm orange light), the bright mornings right through to the high temperature nights, it's all there." 3 out of 4 tracks feature live guitar and bass, all played by Dweller himself, aside from the bassline on 'In The Morning' , played by R. Rollinson . There's also some live synth layers and cuts in places. The EP is largely created on the MPC2500 with some heavily cut breaks and chopped up sunshine, rich instrumentation and unique structuring. Allow us to present 'Goosebumps 3 - The Final Chapter' , as we've assembled once again to venture into the darkness for the last time. Not quite the full squad, but several members of the MJM fam stepped up to the challenge, which resulted in a 25 track deep collection of Hip Hop and experimental horrorcore instrumentals. "Beautiful Memories" is built on a succession of melancholy piano chords, a comforting saxophone and a warm bass-drum mix. John Linhart , producer of the "HoodyBoi" project, wrote the track as a tribute to his grandmother Susanna Linhart , a British painter who passed away in 2021. John's inspiration for this project came from the nostalgia he felt from Susanna's paintings of scenery around the house where she lived.
